Privacy Policy
The short version
Preetu Money Tools does not collect, store, share or sell any personal information.
There is no sign-up, no account, no advertising and no analytics. Every calculation runs on your own phone, and the numbers you type never leave it.
This policy explains how the Preetu Money Tools mobile application (the “App”) handles your information. Please read it before using the App. By using the App you agree to this policy.
1Information we collect
None. The App does not ask for, collect or transmit any personal information about you.
Specifically, the App does not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, date of birth, PAN, Aadhaar, bank account details, card details, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera input, precise or approximate location, device advertising identifier, or any other identifier that could be used to recognise you.
The App has no login, no registration and no user profile. We never see the amounts, rates, tenures or incomes you enter into any calculator.
2What is stored on your device
The App saves two small settings on your phone so it behaves the way you left it:
- Your appearance choice — light, dark or system theme.
- The calculators you have pinned to the top of the home screen.
These are stored in the App’s private storage area on your device. They are not personal information, they are not readable by other apps, and they are never uploaded anywhere. The values you type into a calculator are held in memory only while that screen is open and are discarded when you leave it.
Uninstalling the App permanently removes these settings from your device.
3Internet access
The App is fully offline. It does not request internet access, does not connect to any server of ours or anyone else’s, and continues to work in aeroplane mode.
The only time another app opens is when you tap the contact email address yourself. That hands the address to your own email app — we receive nothing unless you choose to write to us and press send.
4Permissions
The App requests no Android runtime permissions at all. It does not ask for storage, location, contacts, camera, microphone, phone state or notification access, because none of these are needed to run a calculator.
5Advertising, analytics and tracking
The App contains no advertisements, no advertising SDK, no analytics or crash-reporting SDK, no social media SDK and no tracking pixels or cookies.
We do not build user profiles, we do not track you across apps or websites, and there is nothing for us to sell or share, because nothing is collected in the first place.
6Third parties
We do not share information with third parties, because we do not hold any.
The App is built with Flutter, an open-source toolkit. It also uses open-source components to save your theme preference and to open your email app. These run entirely on your device and do not send data anywhere.
If you install the App from Google Play, the Google Play Store itself may collect information such as download and crash statistics under Google’s own privacy policy. That happens at the store level, outside the App, and is not something we control or receive from you through the App.
7Children’s privacy
The App is safe for all ages and is not directed at children in particular. Because it collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children either. We do not knowingly gather personal information from a child under 13, and there is no mechanism in the App by which we could.
8Your rights over your data
Rights such as access, correction, deletion, portability and objection apply to data a company holds about you. We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to look up, correct, export or erase.
You remain in full control of the settings saved on your phone: clear the App’s data from your device settings, or uninstall the App, and they are gone immediately and permanently.
9Security
Because nothing leaves your device, there is no server, no database and no transmission that could be intercepted or breached. Your information is protected by your own device’s security, such as your screen lock and Android’s app sandbox.
10Accuracy of the calculators
Preetu Money Tools provides general financial calculations for information and planning purposes only. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
Results are estimates based on the figures you enter and on standard formulas. Actual amounts from a bank, lender, fund house or the Income Tax Department may differ because of fees, changes in rates, rounding, or rules specific to your situation. Tax slabs and government interest rates also change from time to time.
Please verify important numbers with your bank or a qualified professional before making a financial decision. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the results shown.
11Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published inside the App with a new effective date, and the App will need to be updated for you to see it. If a future version of the App ever introduces a feature that collects data, we will say so clearly here and ask for your consent before it is used.
